Parade & Soiree
TROPICAL FRUITS PARADE
Each year we come together in solidarity to show off our families at the
NEW YEARS FESTIVAL IN LISMORE
Tropical Fruits gathers each year in December to celebrate over 30 years of building, supporting and entertaining the LGBTIQ people of the Northern Rivers.
We invite all of the community to join us at the opening event Parade and Soiree which is held each year on December 29th, as we sashay through the main street of Lovemore, our hometown.
The Parade starts at 4.30pm at the Winsome Hotel in Bridge Street travelling down Molesworth Street to the City Hall at 5pm, where a fun and fabulous Soiree will be held to kick open the New Years Festival.
Our very own Bundjalung Queen, Destiny Haz Arrived gives a Welcome to Country at the City Hall followed by live performances set to inspire you with music to dance to as the sun sets.
The Parade and Soiree are free and open to everyone, so come along and cheer, get your Pride on, rainbows out, and celebrate with us on Sunday afternoon 4.30pm, December 29th as our friends and family come home to the fruitiest party ever!
