Tropical Fruits is a social club run by volunteers - that's you!
We need your skills, laughter and energy to put on parties and keep the flavour truly ours. Whether you like creating colour schemes, working up a sweat with power tools or just being part of a team to get a task done, we have the job for you!
Volunteer at our New Years Festival work in a range of roles, busily scurrying around the Showgrounds between the 27 December and 5 January.
Volunteering allows you to work off the value of tickets and camping. But don't worry, we don't work you that hard... unless you like that kinda thing.
We also need volunteers all year round, both during our annual events and for general help at the Clubhouse and Office. If you are interested in lending a hand throughout the year, please contact us.
Signing up to be a volunteer is easy with our online Volunteer Application Form. Please read this thoroughly as volunteer ticket entitlements may have changed.
Due to high demand volunteer positions will be limited, so be sure to get in early to secure a spot!
* Bump Up shifts are 9:00am - 4:00pm
* NYE shifts are 3 hours
* Pool Party shifts are 3 hours
* Recovery shifts are 2 hours
* Bump Down shifts are 10:00am - 4:00pm
What happens next?
Once you have successfully submitted an application you will be contacted by early November notifying you about your allocated shifts.
Please note there is normally a large amount of volunteer applications each year and confirmations may be delayed.
PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ALLOCATED SHIFTS.
Please remember that you must notify us if you are unable to attend a shift. If you do not attend all your allocated shifts, your profile will be marked as ‘Unfruity’ and you will no longer be able to volunteer for fruits until you pay for the parties you attended.
When you arrive:
Come see us at Volunteer Check-In (located in Norma’s Kitchen).
When you start your shift you will be guided through the sign on form and a WH&S (Work Health & Safety) induction by the Volunteer Manager.
Please remember to bring sun protective clothing and closed in shoes. At the end of the day, please sign out at Volunteer Check-In or if closed with your In-Charge person.
